In just over 48 Hours Carrwood Park managed to supply a fully working call centre for up to 24 operators. The office was required in order to deal with the influx of calls from the public over growing concerns about the swine flu pandemic.
The project was delivered on time and to specification with no compromise in the high standards set by Carrwood Park in space, infrastructure and service.
Below is comments given by the customers shortly after
''In May 2009 the HPA and NHS required a temporary location to set up a call centre to respond to Swine Flu. As it had excellent road links in every direction, Carrwood Park was selected as the ideal location for the Yorkshire and Humber Flu Response Centre and our Centre was the first in the country to be operational. To achieve this, a considerable amount of work had to take place in a very short space of time, in particular by the management and staff of Carrwood Park who met every demand made of them. Our Centre operated for 9 weeks and as the pandemic evolved, the Centre had to evolve with it, with changes frequently being made at very short notice. Throughout the period the management and staff of Carrwood Park continued to provide us with a very high level of flexibility and support, and their contribution to the success of our Centre was noteworthy and we thank them for it.''
